Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Swissinterns platform at app.swissinterns.ch (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Swissinterns is a job-discovery platform that aggregates internship listings in Swiss Finance and Business industries. We do not act as an employer or recruitment agency. We do not guarantee job placement outcomes and do not endorse any listed employer.

3. User accounts

• You must be 16 or older to create an account.
• One account per person. Accurate information is required.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• Account creation is via email + password or Google OAuth (additional providers may be added).

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Scrape or systematically download listing data.
• Create accounts via automated means.
• Post or transmit illegal, harmful, or misleading content.
• Impersonate Swissinterns, its team, or any listed company.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or rate limits.

5. Content policy

User-generated content (favorites, saved applications, profile data) remains owned by you. By storing this content in the Service, you grant Swissinterns a limited licence to store and display it to you within the platform.

6. Intellectual property

The Swissinterns brand, trademarks, and platform code are owned by the operating entity. User content remains user-owned. Third-party internship listings are aggregated for discovery purposes; copyright in those listings belongs to the respective employers.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of internship listings. We do not guarantee job-placement outcomes or the suitability of any listed role.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is capped at CHF 100 or 12 months' service fees, whichever is lower. The exact cap is subject to legal review.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for ToS violation, with 30 days' notice where practicable. In cases of immediate harm (fraud, abuse, illegal content), we may act without notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Zurich (Handelsgericht Zürich), subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
