KPMG Switzerland's programme programme is designed to attract the brightest minds from leading universities and give them genuine consulting experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will contribute to client projects spanning strategy, operations, digital transformation, and organisational design. Our Swiss base and global client portfolio offer unmatched exposure to complex, cross-border business challenges.
Requirements
Enrolled in a final-year undergraduate or postgraduate programme with outstanding academic credentials. Prior internship or project experience in a business or analytical role is preferred. Strong quantitative skills and comfort with data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint; Python or SQL a plus). Excellent communicator in English; German or French proficiency appreciated. High degree of intellectual rigour and attention to detail. Entrepreneurial spirit and genuine interest in business strategy and value creation.
Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of consulting engagements across strategy, operations, and organisational topics. Conduct interviews with client stakeholders and synthesise insights. Develop frameworks and analytical tools to structure complex business problems. Prepare internal knowledge assets and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital. Support business development activities including proposal writing and pitch preparation. Actively participate in team rituals — daily stand-ups, weekly reviews, project retrospectives.
What we offer
Opportunity to develop a comprehensive consulting toolkit — structured thinking, data analysis, slide craft, and client communication — over a concentrated placement. Close collaboration with experienced managers and partners who actively invest in intern development. Firm-wide intern events, practice-area deep dives, and alumni panel sessions. A transparent pathway: strong performers are considered for graduate consulting roles before returning to university.
