About
McKinsey & Company's programme programme is designed to attract the brightest minds from leading universities and give them genuine consulting experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will contribute to client projects spanning strategy, operations, digital transformation, and organisational design. Our Swiss base and global client portfolio offer unmatched exposure to complex, cross-border business challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's student in a quantitative or business discipline with a strong academic track record. Proven ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data visualisation tools is a plus. Fluent in English; additional Swiss national languages are highly valued. Resilient and adaptable in dynamic, fast-changing project environments. Demonstrated leadership or initiative in academic or extracurricular settings.
Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of consulting engagements across strategy, operations, and organisational topics. Conduct interviews with client stakeholders and synthesise insights. Develop frameworks and analytical tools to structure complex business problems. Prepare internal knowledge assets and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital. Support business development activities including proposal writing and pitch preparation. Actively participate in team rituals — daily stand-ups, weekly reviews, project retrospectives.
What we offer
Real consulting experience on live client engagements — not simulated case studies. Structured feedback from an experienced coach and project manager. Exposure to a diverse range of industries and business challenges within a single placement. Formal training programme covering consulting fundamentals, communication, and analytics. Competitive stipend and potential for a return offer to a full-time analyst position.
